Yes we do play games like that! Dazai wins every time. He knows things about me I didn’t even realize about myself, good gosh. He’s just… He’s good at reading people? And he knows me really well… Remembers all the things I like, even if it was a passing mention three months ago. Can usually guess what I’m going to say before I say it, haha! My heart’s duet indeed…
As for me, I think he lets me win. My memory’s pretty good so I use it to remember everything about him that I can – so I know he likes crabs and sake, but not dogs or Chuuya – and Dazai always says I know him so well, because anything I do for him manages to make him so happy… But there are things he’s too scared to tell me, I think. There’s a lot of bad stuff in his past and he’s told me most of it but I don’t think all of it, or all of what thoughts creep around in his head, sometimes. That’s for my own good, I think, but one day I hope he lets me know it all for his own sake… It’s no good to keep all that inside.
As for your final question, we LOVE animals! (Not dogs though,, they’re cute but I’m scared of them and Dazai just, doesn’t like them? It’s kind of funny actually!) But yes animals are great, in fact, we have six pet cats – not counting Atsushi!
