Dazai associates a bunch of things with you: seashells, the color pink, barbie dolls, etc… so whenever you’re away/he’s away, and he sees something that reminds him of you (like a really beautiful pink dress in a shop display), he starts tearing up and rambling about how much he loves you and misses you.
