Say what you will about the BSD English dub but changing Junichirou’s one line in his first introduction during episode two was a stroke of GENIUS!
He originally orders, in both manga and non-dub anime, to Kunikida (who loses rock-paper-scissors to Dazai), to get on the desk and “put your hands above your head” where he can see them. To which Kunikida looks at him offended, and Junichirou nervously replies to just do as he says (because Junichirou’s… Not very good at pretending to be a villain)
INSTEAD, in the English dub, he says, voice shaking,
“Put your FEET above your head”
To which Kunikida looks at him offended, and Junichirou nervously replies to just do as he says!
And it is honestly totally in character and hilarious and it’s as far as I’m concerned, canon now
