2. Would you and your F/O go through a corn maze? Do you think the both of you would get lost?

The two of us love challenge and adventure! But… Yes. Yes, we’d definitely get lost – but it’s hard to feel lost when you’re together. All the more excuse to make out, hidden by all the corn!

13. Do you like baking fall themed treats for your F/O? Do they make treats for you as well?

Everyone in the Agency knows nobody can make an apple pie like I can! And Dazai can’t ever get enough of the things I bake him ;w; One day he definitely decides to surprise me with one of his own! And though he can cook pretty well, baking’s not his forte – I imagine he enlists Junichirou for help, and I love it all the same!

1. Do you and your F/O enjoy the fall weather? If so, what activities do you do?

Oh I’ve always loved the fall, and I think so would Dazai… All the leaves are so colorful and everything’s so exciting, and Dazai loves the aesthetic of trees dying so beautifully.

Little coffee dates and playing in the leaves! Decorating for Halloween and celebrating our own far removed version of Thanksgiving because neither of us are quite American. And of course, walks along leafy lanes while we’re both bundled together in the same scarf…

5. What do you and your F/O think about carving pumpkins? Would you two carve a silly face or a more scary one?

I’ve never carved a pumpkin before and Dazai’s delighted to show me how! I think we’d carve up a whole pumpkin patch to look like the Agency, heehee. I bet the scariest one would be the carving Dazai made to look like Kunikida!

11. For Halloween, what would you and your F/O dress up as?

That varies sooo wildly! Couple costumes can be so much fun… A mummy Pharaoh and his queen of Egypt, or a Disney Princess and her Prince, or a bottle of ketchup and a bottle of mustard!

Hello dear friend!!!! It’s good to see you after spending so much time on the road! And AAA OMG,,, sorry I need to recover from the fact that someone actually looks up to me omg??? Talked about me in a Discord server??? I didn’t know I was cool 😂😎 I try really hard to draw really well even if it’s just silly Dazai x me things!!

Tell her that there’s no need to be shy omg neither me nor hubby bite anything but apples (aha) but that I understand if she just can’t bring herself to talk directly it’s okay it happens!! Tell her I love her anyways and that she should keep drawing always!!

And that is in fact, my advice! Keep! Drawing! Always! I literally went online a few days ago to purchase home internet for my family’s new apartment, and when chatting with customer service it turned out that the sweetie pie rookie who was helping me also loved to draw, but considered herself very bad at it! So I told her !!! And this is the important part, to KEEP DRAWING because if you enjoy it you should do it, and the more you do it the better you get!

More practical advice other than ever important moral support and encouragement is to start by copying others’ art! (But don’t post it! Shhh… That is secret practice, don’t want to be ripping others off!) It doesn’t even have to be someone’s art, she can copy anime screenshots or photographs, whatever she wants to be good at! She can even trace over an image to help her hand get used to the movement, I learned to draw Dazai’s hair by tracing over many MANY of his various screenshots that I keep! Never be afraid of refs, greater painters would look and paint!

Another one is to find what she likes to work with :0 you must make it as fun for yourself as possible!! Because it’s very easy to get frustrated with yourself when your drawing is not coming out how you want, but as many great nomads have said, it’s about the journey, not the destination. If you’re not enjoying the process of making art as much as the result, you’re just hurting yourself! So she should see if she prefers digital or traditional, pencils or pens, raster or vector! Try everything she can, unless she’s already set on something 😛 and of course, try to pick a subject you like drawing! I could practice art by drawing a character I don’t care as much about, or I could use it as an excuse to stare at Dazai~

Sara why did you draw yourself in mafia version with Dazai-kun? Did you have any contact with the Port before?

What a lovely and interesting question…

No, actually, aside from being close friends with Higuchi and a fateful first meeting many years ago en route to the airport that would be the beginning of many tales to come, I stay far away from the Port Mafia as anything other than our enemies… (Even though at times, they have proven to be unlikely allies as well!)

But, once upon a time, in a setting and stage not too different from the one you and I already know… There in the strange city unfolds a different tale, one where the Earth is off its axis and the universe is ever so slightly askew, where things are broken and there is no better, only worse.

And all that remains that is the same is that Dazai and I find each other, and we fall in love, and everything burns around us as we burn for each other.

How different can a story be if you only change one thing? After all, this universe is close to ours, it touches and spills over and sometimes there are visions and misplaced memories… A feeling of emptiness, a painful longing, a missing person in the sunny spot of an agency – gone for just a moment, then back again, all of a sudden.

One man doesn’t die. That’s good, yes? Except… One boy’s life is ruined. He sinks deeper into darkness and danger, into doing deeds unspeakable. In turn, one girl fails a simple test, one she’d have passed were he there. She ends up by his side once again, but as the Lady MacBeth to his lord, her hands are stained to her elbows with the blood they spill.

And all the while a little tiger cub goes lost and hungry, dying on the brink of a river, unfound.

Or perhaps he is found, but by the wrong people… Or, alternatively, the same man who found him before, but now he comes from the wrong place.

But with all those changes, I trust him with my whole heart. And that is why I drew it ♡

9. Who would you and your f/o go on double dates with?

Aw man Higuchi and I always said that when we got older we’d go on double dates with whoever ended up being our boys but unfortunately now we’re of the mindset that putting those two together in the same place probably won’t end well for either of them 😂

So I guess I’d go on double dates with @friendship–seal​ and Atsushi… Except I think Dazai would embarrass the heck out of the two of them and me in the process by asking too many questions askljf

We used to go on disastrous double dates with Dante and Chuuya, but I haven’t heard from either of them in a really long while…

10. What’s something you and your f/o disagree on?

Dazai actually likes cherry soda. Can you believe it? As for other things…

He thinks I overwork myself, I think I don’t work hard enough.
He thinks he deserves to die, I think he deserves to be happy.
He thinks I’m beautiful, and I think I’m very ugly.
He thinks he’s a cruel monster, I think he’s a wonderful and kind prince.

I don’t think we’ve had a very serious argument though – most of our opinions on things match and seeing as we had no trouble picking house furniture together I’m of the mind there’s hardly to be any other trouble expected! 

12. Do either of you want matching tattoos? If so, what would you get?

We like the idea, in theory! In practice, no… No, I’m Muslim and Dazai really hates pain. We wouldn’t be able to get them, but if we could, we do like how these ones look!

2. Does your f/o ever tease you about things? Alternatively, do you ever tease your f/o about things?

Weee do, but lately we’re trying not to… We both have some problems up there in the head with the things people say to us – difference being, Dazai doesn’t show it, and I definitely do – so we try to avoid teasing each other too badly in case we say something that genuinely hurts, just in case! So Dazai never teases me about being skinny, and I don’t make fun of his bandages. But he loves to pinch my cheek and I love to tickle his tummy~!

I’d definitely laugh and smack his arm gently. Iiii think he’d just join me, tho 😂

6. Do you and your f/o have any inside jokes?

We love calling back to things that happened to us! Like the time about Mulder’s memory problems, or Vicki hanging around, or the crab in the shoe…! 

16. When (if) you and your f/o live together, what thing do you always have to have in the house?

It takes a while for us to live together because of my parents, but we do, at some point, there’s just too much stress involved for us to stay away from each other… And the answer would definitely have to be sharpened knives, six cats (Atsushi doesn’t count), and a television!
