Hey, erm…weird questions maybe but how good of a caretaker is Sara when you get sick? (and have you guys ever both gotten sick and had to take care of each other? <3)

Not weird questions at all, anon-chan! Anyways~

SHE IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST CARETAKER 👌👌👌👌👌 WHAT A WIFE. 💯/10 WOULD ASK HER TO TAKE CARE OF ME AGAIN. I don’t see why they don’t employ her at hospitals already, one smile from her and all my ills were miraculously gone!! Doctors hate her but I LOVE HER!!

In all seriousness, she takes wonderful care of me. It’s a little harder for her to cook dinner alone, but still she makes me soup – all while checking my temperature, making sure I take my medicine, helping me out of and into bed, and staying by my side even when I’m gross and disgusting (and delusional with fever). She’s wonderfully patient and caring… I don’t know what I did to deserve her in my life. She takes the whole day off just for me and still manages to get her daily paperwork finished and filed at home!

And as for the second question… Yes. I think it’s well-known and obvious to all of you by now I simply cannot keep my hands nor my lips off of my princess for a moment, so we’ve ended up sick in bed many a time. All the more fun! 

What do you guys do to relax together?

Foot baths! Especially for her – rubbing her feet is relaxing to me too, huehue~

But if we’re too tired to watch X-Files or read a good book, then there’s always petting one of our six cats (not counting Atsushi)! Kitty purrs are good for the soul, you know. And Sara always looks so at peace when they’re in her arms, and that brings me peace as well.

dazai, how do you feel about sara’s friends that aren’t from your universe?

Any friend of Sara’s is a friend of mine~ They’re all so eclectic! And I’m not just meaning whether they’re Dutch or Filipino in this case. I mean… Everything from teenagers in blue telephone booths to girls dating talking hedgehogs. Life is strange and brilliant with such dimensional delights going on! My favorite is how many different Shelbies I know. We have a Shelby right here in the Agency, but she just seems to be everywhere!

Though, the interdimensional issues do get problematic when other versions of me show up, demanding to be with my wife… This is my Sara, get your own! But her friends are always welcome, so long as they treat her kindly. I don’t think I need to tell you about the kinds of people Sara bumps into during her time here!

Dazai, what’s your favorite place to go with Sara?

THE BEACH. I mean, everywhere is wonderful when I’m with my wife, but she just loves it there.

And I love it there…

Sun and sand and sea and Sara in a swimsuit~ But really, everything about it is perfect. I do love the ocean, you know, for more reasons than one… I’m glad it’s so dear to her as well. I think I’d like to live beside it one day, with her, a house that looks out across the waters. 

Have you met each other’s families?

Sara has of course met the Agency~! Sometimes I joke that she loves them more than she loves me, but we both know that’s not true… She loves me so much more than I deserve, it’s hardly fair.

And as for her family, they’ve met me. I’ve been up at her apartment to call her over to work, or have walked her home there on occasion. But they don’t… Know I’m her husband. They simply think I’m her coworker~ As it should be. Her mother’s alright, but her father hurts her, I think… Not physically, but there are other ways to torture a person, and I of all people would know. I’m unsure what he’d do if he found out about me, but he gives Tanizaki-san weird stares as it is.

If either of you were to have a nightmare, how would the other comfort them?

If… You mean when. Nightmares happen far too often, but that’s just how it goes in this line of work. I deserve all of them, though. I’d gladly have nightmares every night so long as Sara never does.

[sighs] But she does… She wakes up crying every other night or so, and I wake up too, I always do. I’m a light sleeper, and it’s good for checking up on how my wife’s doing. It breaks my heart to hear her calling my name softly in the dark, clawing at the sheets, not awake enough yet to know I’m right by her side… I kiss her, I wake her up and I kiss her, I wipe her tears and nuzzle my nose into her face and try to reassure her that whatever she saw wasn’t real. It takes a while, but soon enough she spits over her shoulder three times and with a turn of her pillow, drifts back off to sleep in my arms.

As for me… I have nightmares too. A lot. Really bad ones. I try not to let Sara know but I think she knows… She holds me tighter at night and spends time praying longer and bought me a charm with an eye bead, in hopes that it’d help. I love her… It doesn’t always help though, often enough I wake up in a cold sweat, and spend the rest of my night awake, watching her, as that’s much better than going back there where she gets hurt over and over… 

What are your dates most like? Do you have a go-to date or do you like to try new things? What was your favorite/most memorable date?

Our usual date is just for me to take her outside and dance down the street together… I do that almost every day, an impromptu waltz for the two of us right outside the Uzumaki Cafe! But we do indeed try to mix it up, I love taking her new places and seeing the look of wonder and awe on her face… New restaurant, shopping mall, city park? We’ll be there!

My favorite date however, is the first time we went to the beach. The one we’d later be married on~ She just loves the water so much! My little mermaid loves to splash around, looking for seashells… And looks simply ever so marvelous in a swimsuit :3
